Carolina and Reinaldo Herrera

Carolina Herrera is a Caracas, Venezuela-born fashion designer and entrepreneur who founded her eponymous company in 1980.  She has been based in New York City since 1981, and was recognized throughout the 1970s and 1980s as one of the best dressed women in the world.  She is a Goodwill Ambassador and Facilitator for the Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro-algae Against Malnutrition, and is a recipient of the International Institute of New York’s Award of Excellence.  Reinaldo Herrera Guevara, the Marqués de Torre Casa, is an Editor at Vanity Fair magazine.  Both Mr. and Ms. Herrera are past ACRIA Board members.
