Hanna Tessema joined ACRIA’s HIV Health Literacy Program as the HIV & Older Adults Technical Assistance Associate Manager and HIV Educator in 2007. She comes to ACRIA from The Bronx Health Link, where she served as the Coordinator of Health Education and Outreach. Prior to that, Tessema spent time as a Health Policy Research and Program Administrator in Durban, South Africa, through the Center for African and African American Studies at the University of Michigan. She holds a Masters Degree in Social Policy and Evaluation, and will receive a Global Masters in Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology from New York University in 2010.
