March to End AIDS - June 8, 11 a.m.

June 8th is the first day of the U.N. High Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS. World Leaders will gather to announce their commitments to fight global AIDS. We need you to demand that they keep their promise to achieving universal access to treatment. We now know that this could end AIDS.

Meet at Bryant Park (42 St. and 6th Ave.) at 11 a.m.

Rally at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza at the U.N. (47 St. and 2nd Ave.) at 12:30 p.m.

147 West 24th Street, 3rd Floor. Please join us.

We demand:

  • Full funding to end AIDS
  • Respect for the human rights of all people
  • 15 million on AIDS treatment by 2015
  • An end to trade deals that put profits and patents ahead of lives
  • Adopt the "International Declaration on Poverty, Housing Instability, and HIV/AIDS"
  • Cut Tuberculosis deaths among pople  with HIV by at least 50%
  • Elimination of new HIV infections from injection drug use and mother-to-child transmission
  • Reduction of hiv infections via sex by 50%
