Since 1991, the Community Research Initiative on AIDS's (CRIA) Drug Trials program has partnered with prominent researchers, physicians, and community-based clinics across the U.S. in pursuit of the newest and most promising therapies and treatments for HIV and related illnesses. More than a dozen of the drugs tested through CRIA have received FDA approval, and we have undertaken groundbreaking independent research in the areas of antiretroviral side effects management. Through our efforts, people living with HIV and AIDS are receiving the newest and best treatments for thrush, lipodystrophy, treatment-related diarrhea, and a host of other ailments, living longer and healthier lives.
