Living in the New York City area and interested in volunteering? Both the research and education departments at ACRIA would love your help to:
- Update information in TrialSearch, our online HIV/AIDS clinical trials database, by contacting clinical trial sites nationwide;
- Follow-up with ACRIA's clinical trials participants through phone calls, mailings, and database update;
- Pack educational brochures and periodicals for mailing to individuals and agencies who request them throughout the city and country;
- Correct names and addresses on our mailing lists;
- Prepare HIV/AIDS folders and educational materials used in workshops throughout New York City;
- And more!
We welcome your help anytime during the week, Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 pm. Volunteers who are interested in learning more about HIV treatment education and can volunteer 10 hours or more a week are also invited to join us on various workshops throughout the city and have more of an internship experience.
