Since 1993, Unframed has raised millions of dollars towards the fight against AIDS. Initiated by artist and ACRIA co-founder Ross Bleckner, who hung 100 drawings for sale in his studio, this event has grown exponentially, bringing together prominent contemporary artists to support the ACRIA Artists Ending AIDS Fund, housed since late 2017 at GMHC, the world’s first AIDS service provider. Hosted by Lisson Gallery's Alex Logsdail on June 20, this cocktail party will allow bidders to preview this year's offerings, register, and bid on a curated selection of incredible artworks by leading visual artists and designers including Mary Heilmann, Cory Arcangel, Spencer Finch and many more. Cocktail tickets start at $75.
For over 25 years, ACRIA has been tirelessly supported by visual artists, many who have created work for our Unframed series. Delving deep into our archives, we are offering a selection of very limited editions and objects, at or below their release prices, and many for the last time, on Paddle8 beginning August 29th. Proceeds from this sale benefit our vital programs in HIV/AIDS research and education and bidding starts as low as $50. Visit the auction page here to view the works and place a bid (online only).
